Clustering analysis

For each age, the ratio to the activity at eclosion was calculated for each enhancer-trap line. An arbitrary color code is also assigned to these ratios for ease of presentation (red colors: r>1.5, blue: 0.5

The data were also processed with a micro-array clustering program (J-Express)(Dysvik and Jonassen, 2001) and results were compared.

The 22 first lines up-regulated during aging are indicated for each clustering method. 20 (red lines) out of 22 lines are common to the two methods (green lines are present only with J-Express, blue lines are present only with Excel)
